Dr. Lori Eickleberry
Dr. Lori Eickleberry is a Licensed Psychologist, Adjunct Professor, and founder of three mental health clinics in Fort Lauderdale and Miami: a nonprofit, a group private practice, and an intensive outpatient program. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in 2005 and has served on their faculty since 2004. She is Board Certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology and also Board Certified in Addiction Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and currently serves as an active board member on both boards.
She conducts numerous workshops in Motivational Interviewing and CBT therapies and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Divisions 50, 28, and 42, the Association for Contextual Behavior Science, and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
She works in the assessment and treatment of diverse disorders and difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and personality disorders. She uses a variety of evidence-based treatments, such as DBT, ACT, UP, traditional CBT, and MI to improve treatment outcomes. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of complex cases and is known within the community for quality treatment and outcomes for individuals who struggle in unique and complex ways. She is an advocate for the equal dissemination of quality mental health services and resources and has supported United Way’s endeavors as a member of their Tocqueville Society since 2019.
