211 is a confidential, community helpline and crisis hotline service providing immediate guidance and support for individuals and families who find themselves without answers to problems they may face on a daily basis.

211 provides an array of support and assistance, including information; assessment; advocacy; referral; and linkage to appropriate community agencies, as well as telephone counseling, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention is provided. As the central gateway to health and human services, 211 collects, maintains, and makes available up-to-date resource information via phone, text, email, website, printed guides and directories.

People contact 211 for many reasons. Some simply need a phone number to a community program, while others call because they need to talk over a problem. Every call to 211 is considered unique and responded to by a trained, caring and empathetic specialist. These Resource Specialists are here for you 24-hours a day every day of the year. They are not here to judge you or tell you what to do. They are here to listen and provide information to assist you in times of stress and trouble.
