St. Lucie County Community Services Offers Summer Camp Scholarships

St. Lucie County’s Human Services Division is offering summer camp scholarships to income-eligible St. Lucie County households, starting Thursday, April 1. Preference will be given to households who are working or currently enrolled in school.

Applicants must be St. Lucie County residents and meet the income guidelines. Income eligibility is based on household size and must be at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level. A household is defined as an individual or group of individuals living together as one economic unit regardless of relation.

Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-qualified basis. Limited spots are available. Funds can be used to pay any licensed childcare provider who is willing to work with the program. The cost of childcare cannot exceed $100 per week.
