Florida Disaster Fund: The state's official private relief fund was established to assist Florida's communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster. Donations to the Florida Disaster Fund are made to the Volunteer Florida Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization,

The Red Cross: The Red Cross helped operate shelters for those evacuating Hurricane Ian and will continue to provide recovery support.

Volunteer Florida: This state agency has several volunteer positions available to assist with Hurricane Ian recovery efforts, such as volunteering with the Red Cross or assisting with mental health services.

Big Dog Ranch Rescue will be heading to areas ravaged by hurricane Ian on Florida’s West Coast to provide pet supplies to families and shelters struggling with the aftermath of the storm. Supplies of food and crates will be sent to the region’s pet-friendly hurricane shelters and animal rescues, additionally, endangered dogs will be brought back to safety at Big Dog Ranch Rescue.
