2025 Back to School Events

We've rounded up a list of FREE supply events happening in Palm Beach and Treasure Coast counties. Some events also offer school physicals, haircuts and other activities. Please be aware that you may need to register in advance…and for some events are limited while supplies last.

Back to School Sales Tax Holiday: *TBD 2025- No sales tax collected on purchases of: learning aids and jigsaw puzzles for $30 or less; most school supplies selling for price of $50 or less; uniforms, clothing, footwear and certain accessories selling for $100 or less per item; computers and related accessories selling for $1500 or less (when purchased for non-commercial and personal use). *Most likely in August- dates not finalized as of 6-17-25.

Back-to-School "Party in the Park"

Each August, Wellington hosts a Back-to-School “Party in the Park" at the Wellington Amphitheater, hosted in partnership with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR). The “Party in the Park” offers free fun and activities for kids and their families to mark the end of Summer and the start of a new school year.
