Help Me Grow
Free Development Screenings
Children grow and learn at different rates...monitoring your child's development can be confusing even for the most attentive parent.
We can help!
If you are the parent/guardian of a child who is between the ages of 1 month and 5 1/2 years old you can click on the buttons to complete a free developmental screening (the ASQ & ASQ-SE).
Our Help Me Grow care coordinators will follow up with you on your child’s results. If you have any concerns with regards to your child’s behavior/health we strongly recommend you complete this screening.
However, even if you currently do not have a specific concern, screening is recommended for all children to ensure that they are developing happy and healthy!
ASQ 3 screens your child’s development over five domains of functioning: Communication, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Problem Solving, and Personal-Social.
The ASQ SE- 2 screens your child’s social-emotional development.

Developmental Milestones
Children reach many milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move. Developmental monitoring and screening are ways to look for your child’s developmental milestones. What is the difference? It is easy for parents to learn these important developmental milestones that have helped them and their children. Most children begin to sort shapes and colors by the age of 2! This is one of many developmental milestones to look for in your child. Monitoring children’s developmental milestones is not only a great way for parents to support their children’s development, but can also be a fun, family activity!
Virtual Milestone Checklists
Is your child’s development on track? Try our virtual developmental milestone checklist! Complete a checklist and receive a summary of your child’s milestones that can be downloaded, printed, or emailed. You can also choose to send your results to HMG for a follow-up! If you have a concern about your child’s development, complete a Milestone Checklist and connect with HMG to review your child’s milestones. When children are identified as early as possible, they can get the resources and services they need!
CDC Milestone Tracker App
The Center for Disease Control has a FREE app to track your child’s milestones- in English and Spanish! Tracking your child's milestones is easy and celebrating your child’s developmental milestones can be a fun family activity. The CDC just made tracking early developmental milestones easy with a parent-friendly app, Milestone Tracker.
