Discover The Palm Beaches Launches Help Desk for Essential Lodgers, Medical Personnel and First Responders
Medical personnel and first responders on the frontlines of the COVID-19 response have publicly shared concerns of bringing the virus home. Some, even pitching tents in their backyards or garages to keep themselves quarantined from their families inside their homes. Because of this, several hotels in The Palm Beaches are offering free and/or discounted rates at area hotels for medical professionals and first responders, so that they can rest in a comfortable space, while not potentially passing along the virus to their loved ones at home.
Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the official tourism marketing corporation for Palm Beach County, has opened a virtual help desk for essential lodgers to ask questions as they navigate hotel resources and special offers. Available by phone and email, the help desk complements the comprehensive Hotel Status List , special hotel offers and other discounts published on the DTPB website. Essential lodgers range from healthcare professionals and first responders to displaced residents and visitors.
