Florida officially launched a statewide registration system. Florida residents can preregister for vaccine appointments by clicking here or contact 866-201-1060.

Gov. Ron DeSantis has directed the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Division of Emergency Management to coordinate with the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs to identify veterans of World War II and the Korean War who are unable to travel to receive a vaccine. Homebound veterans who fit those requirements can call (850) 487-1533, extension 9 or complete a short online form for assistance in receiving the vaccine.

Walmart and Sam’s Clubs

To check availability and schedule an appointment, visit: www.walmart.com/COVIDvaccine and www.samsclub.com/covid. You will need a Walmart or Sam’s Club account to register. Before scheduling an appointment, please verify your eligibility through your State Health Department's website.

Disability Information and Access Line (DIAL)

Help with COVID-19 vaccinations for people with disabilities by calling 888-677-1199 Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Disability Information and Access Line (DIAL) is now available to help people with disabilities get vaccinated.  The DIAL's trained staff is standing by to: Help find local vaccination locations, assist with making vaccination appointments, and connect callers to local services – such as accessible transportation – to overcome barriers to vaccination.

Medicaid Transportation for COVID-19 Vaccinations

Florida Medicaid will take you to get the COVID-19 vaccine at no cost. All you need to do is set up a time to get your vaccine. Next, let your Medicaid plan know you need a ride and they will take care of the rest. If you are not enrolled in a plan, call the Medicaid Helpline at 1-877-254-1055 to find out guidelines and the name/phone number for a transportation service.

Coalition for Independent Living Options (CILO)

Transportation Okeechobee County

Advantage Ride (UZURV)

UZURV is an Adaptive Transportation Network Company that is funded by the State of Florida to provide safe reliable transportation to persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities. UZURV drivers are trained in CPR, First Aid, and Disability Sensitivity. Eligible rides will originate or terminate in St. Lucie, Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee Counties. Hours are Monday through Friday from 5:30 am - 10:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 7:30 am - 7:30 pm. Transportation fee does apply. For more information, please call (772) 946-9122.

Uber and Lyft

Uber and Lyft will begin offering free rides to anyone going to a vaccination site to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Officials say the free rides will be offered from May 24 to July 4.
