211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast is the ONLY service of its kind in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties, providing individuals in need with information, referral, telephone counseling and suicide intervention 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In one typical 24-hour day, 211 provides…

• 331 residents with INFORMATION when they call seeking guidance on issues - whether it is something personal, something in the family, or something in the community. 211 is there to provide empathetic listening and to connect callers to available resources.
• 98 people with CRISIS COUNSELING, including SUICIDE PREVENTION, for people who desperately need someone to turn to.
• 420 shut-in seniors with reassurance through our SUNSHINE LINE when a volunteer calls to give a friendly hello and make sure all is OK.
• 8 homeless individuals with access to the Palm Beach County HOMELESS OUTREACH TEAM, providing a place to turn for shelter, food and help
• 15 teenagers with the OPPORTUNITY TO CHAT with a trained specialist on the telephone or via instant message to share their concerns about critical issues faced at home and in school
• 4 elders with detailed ASSESSMENT, CRISIS INTERVENTION AND ADVOCACY services, to help them remain independent as long as possible.
