Problems
at home? Need someone to talk to? Sometimes things outside
of your control like family violence, divorce, abuse, death of a
parent, or even drug or alcohol abuse can make "normal"
problems appear overwhelming! When this happens, you may feel like
you have nowhere to turn.
Confused? Depressed? Suicidal? Teen
years are often confusing. Sometimes it may feel like your life
has been turned upside down. Concerns about school, friends, parents,
relationships, body changes, and plans for your future are common
challenges you may face.
Most
young people go through times when they feel down, confused moody,
and unhappy. During these times it is important to talk to someone
about what is bothering you, especially if these feelings last for
a long time and things get worse as time goes on.
